Less litter in the playground.
Classrooms now have enough bins.
Still carrying out recycling on Fridays.
Encouraging teachers to photocopy on both sides of paper and reusing old worksheets for scrap paper.
Lots of documents now kept electronically.
Dinner ladies try to avoid unnecessary packaging.
Schools headed paper printed on recycled paper.
We have our new link with school in Malawi.
Hot water pipes and tanks have been recently insulated to conserve energy.
Lights are now fitted with energy efficient bulbs.
Working partnership still strong with FDSP.
Continuing development of Dalmeny Park- planting bulbs for planters in the park etc.
Action Points
Further convey action to help to reduce energy use- turn down radiators before opening windows.
Include nursery in many more eco-activities. They are going to start collecting rain water for plant watering.
Encouraging healthier ways to get to school.
Compost- look into starting this up again.
Not to use bins as football goals.
Use and recycling of envelopes.
